Ol’ Lady Luck
"This is one of the two songs on the album where I don't use a slide. It’s always about finding the best way to project the voice of the guitar for the song. Every song is oriented more one way or the other. It usually becomes apparent to me early, as I'm getting into the tune, which way to go. But I was on the fence about this one until I actually sat down with a regular guitar to try it out. As soon as I started playing, the signature melody came pouring out, and I thought, 'Oh, yeah. This is it.'"
