Godchild
“With a history that predates the Civil War, an expansive stretch of plantations hugs the Mississippi River between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Like those found in St. Martin Parish, some of the old mansions are said to be haunted and I’ve been hearing these ghost stories all my life. Drawing from the mood of these stories, I let both the mystery and the message in ‘Godchild’ waltz on the dark side of Bayou Teche.”
